SMD Projectors Angel Eyes
Nowadays, many more new types of automobile lights appeared. Plenty of drivers do not satisfy with the original lights on their vehicles, thus they prefer to make some modification. People mainly choose to modify HID or LED to replace their original lights, but still some would like to modify Angel Eyes or Devil Eyes. There is no doubt that modifying HID or LED is for lighting and being discriminating in driving for safety consideration. Then why people feel like modifying Angel Eyes and Devil Eyes and what on earth are they?
Currently, there are two kinds of Angel Eyes while concerning the emitting materials: CCFL and LED. CCFL is commonly known as a cold cathode tube and most LED monitors are using this material now. Its emitting principle is adding high-pressure into pipe poles, which makes the mercury electron of the inner tube impacted with gas atom to produce ultraviolet light that hits the phosphor on the tube and converts into visible light. LED Angel Eyes is emitting diode, which actually is constituted of several LED particles arranging into a ring. Compared with CCFL, the internal drive voltage of LED Angel Eyes is much lower than CCFL, therefore, the LED Angel Eyes do not need ballast to start as CCFL do. Moreover, LED Angel Eyes have advantages of easy installation, better energy dissipation and safety than that of CCFL. However, as LED Angel Eyes are point sources of light, the lighting aperture is not continuous, which makes it less aesthetic than CCFL. In addition, after a long time of using, the electrodes of the CCFL light tube ends easily become dark, especially modified by some unqualified products, which is quite serious.
